INTRODUCTION
Founded in 1985 by Mr Emile Gorin, TECHNISEM has always been concerned with providing varieties of vegetable plants adapted to the grower demands for hot areas of the globe, particularly to the African producers of the Tropics.
Our Strategy : Introducing breeding programs, fitting market conditions in those we want to play a significant role.
In order to provide a succeful resolution to the increasing demand of African producers, TECHNISEM in colaboration with its sister company, TROPICASEM, has developed a plant breeding department in Senegal. Our breeding programs allow us to create some original varieties such as the Okra F1 Madison standing up well in cool conditions of the fresh season or the red batavia Lettuce, named Gina, highly resistant to heat (INRA/Technisem variety).

Thanks to our experience, TECHNISEM has developed a complete range of varieties that allows it today to be one of the most advanced vegetable seed suppliers for hot areas. For several years now, TECHNISEM has enlarged its Reseach and Development activities on more temperate areas particularly focused on the Mediterranean Basin with North Africa as main goal.

The seed industry overlaps in a multitude of scientific, technical and logistic activities that each needs to be carefully followed. The TECHNISEM team is mobilized so that this chain of competences is as efficient as possible for our regular or new partners.
Our most pertinent and on-going concern is to provide all our partners with produces of constant quality. The whole of our marketed batches must pass a sequence of examinations to be authenticated and are subject to rigorous varietal compliance verifications. For this reason, TECHNISEM combines classic varietal controls (field screening), and laboratory tests (molecular markers).

In France, our logistic department, subject to the European Union rules, is dedicated to providing reliable seeds that have passed all quality tests.
As most of our customers live in hot climate regions, we take particular care in placing our seeds in efficient packing adapted to the demand of each customer. Our range of tins and polythene or aluminium packets permits us to serve quickly to each demand of our customers.
