Field Teams

Our teams meet with seed producers and distributors in the tropics to identify their needs, understand the realities of the field and test Technisem’s solutions with them.

Search

02.

Technisem relies on years of research and varietal selection work to develop varieties adapted to the biotic and abiotic stresses present in tropical zones. This work is carried out by Nova Genetic, a company of the Novalliance group.

Production

03.

The production of seeds is carried out from basic seeds for which the varietal purity and the sanitary quality are the main concerns. These seeds are the direct result of research work carried out upstream.

Import

04.

Import is an important step in the supply chain that requires anticipation and rigor in order to meet multiple and changing requirements according to regulations.

Quality

05.

As soon as the seeds are received at Technisem, the SeedLab laboratory, part of the Novalliance group, carries out rigorous quality controls. These checks are carried out from production to marketing.

Techno seed

06.

The seeds go through the Techno-seeds stage in order to optimize their genetic potential and offer a product of the highest quality to the end customer. This department also works to use more environmentally friendly products.

Plant

07.

Once treated, the seeds are temporarily stored in one of the 4 cold rooms. They are then packaged in airtight metal boxes or in bags (containing an aluminised dose to maximise conservation and resistance to humidity and UV).

Export

08.

Once packaged, the seeds must be exported to the client countries. Each country having its own administrative constraints, our teams ensure the conformity of each batch shipped.
